To further explain. Rust doesn't provide a runtime/framework for async/await, you have to bring your own. Tokio is (I believe) the most popular async/await framework for rust.

MMU can be emulated as part of emulated architecture. Its totally possible to have software only mmu.

NetBSD holds record for most supported architectures. Like 50 diffrent, while Linux like maybe 20...

It's 2026 - the site can look like an old-skool zine being displayed with monospace fonts on a computer monitor and easily still have alternate formats for mobile devices. Not having it is just pure laziness.

It must be possible to have some hardware adapter to map RAM into that type of memory.

Or even over serial...

ps. Related story: around 10 years ago Texas Instruments started to use FRAM in some of their 16 bit MCUs (msp430 family)

It works exactly like core memory - data still intact after power resets.
